This is an original artwork, existing only as a physical Mixed media painting on 9mm marine plywood.
This Mixed media on wood was enormously fun to create! Expressively applying acrylic paint, spray paint, gold leaf and wire with a layer of resin. The resin offers durable protection for the painting. It also creates a high gloss finish which intensifies and changes the whole feel of the artwork beneath.
The abstract paintings I make are a refreshing and enjoyable experience with no constraints or particular details.
Creating this painting with freedom and erratic movements provides an organic, high energy feeling to the piece.
