Original artwork, existing only as a physical Acrylic painting on canvas.
This painting has a mixture of both realism and surrealism, using Prusian Blue, raw sienna, umber, golden yellow and classic white.
After the first few layers I covered the canvas with very thin yellow glazes.
This gives the artwork a rustic charm, as if it was painted over 100 years ago.
Influenced by artists such as William Turner and Monet who both had a great love for the outdoors.
This painting was from a memory, storm clouds over a beach in England somewhere.
One minute glorious sunshine, then in an instant, as dark as midnight.
