Original artwork, existing only as a physical Acrylic painting on canvas.
Painted on duck cotton canvas, stretched over a handmade frame.
This painting is inspired by places I’ve visited all over the Welsh Mountains. Capturing beautiful landscapes on canvas using memories of my experiences is really wholesome.
I used a minimal palette in both this and the other painting in this series ‘A walk in Bangor’.
I think this highlights the simplicity of nature. Olive and Spring greens with Aegean Blue, muted yellow and white, applied with a wide brush and occasionally smudged across the canvas with my hands.
Hopefully this Landscape art gives you a feeling of peace and contentment in the natural elements of nature.
