Original artwork, existing only as a physical Acrylic painting on canvas.
The inspiration for this piece came from my love for the outdoors, once again influenced by the natural world.
This painting, completed using metallic gold, turquoise, burnt umber, persian blue and white. Painting thick layers of burnt umber using a palette knife. Adding metallic gold, blending both of the pigments together onto the canvas.
The contrasting shades in this abstract painting give the perception of a rugged, outback adventure in the wild country somewhere. This piece is named ‘Wild’ but still, peace and tranquillity can be found in this heavily textured hand painted artwork.
